 Microsoft¢î Windows¢î XP Inside Out, Second Edition $44.99 And helps the advanced IT/Computer Guru not overlook the simple things first, which we all do at times. Well written, non condescending and not over the head of the newbie, but informative and helpful as a guide. I keep it on my bookshelf as a primary reference, and if you work with Windows XP as a user/power user/tekky at all, you should too.  Honeywell HW-628 Enviracaire Twin Window Fan $49.99 It's not the best fan but does the job. Relatively quiet and moves a good amount of air. I got this fan because it had the dual intake/exhaust feature. However the side extensions are flimsy and don't stay open even when "locked". Furthermore, the directions recommend that you not leave this in a window during the rain...what's the point of making a window fan if you can't leave it in a window? Over all it is an OK fan, but feels relatively cheaply made. If you are going to use this more than just occasionally, or desire to leave this in the window for long periods of time, you would be better off getting a higher quality fan.  Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Upgrade $199.99 If you are currently running Windows Vista you owe it to yourself to upgrade to Windows 7. This operating systems runs so much faster than Vista and everything is just easier to work with. Just powering up my desktop only takes about on one and a half minutes. Upgrading was simple but you will need to reinstall all of your application software, but everything works fine. Don't wait any longer, just do it!  Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition UPGRADE with SP2 $99.99 Had to go to Windows XP on my wife's computer as Windows 98 is no longer supported. It is much better than Vista installed on my own machine. |
