![]() Cars $14.99 I bought this for my 5 year old since he likes driving games. I had to do the set up since he can't read yet but otherwise he enjoys the racing. It's perfect for him since there is an option to do "open" driving and not necessarily win a race. ![]() Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games $49.99 All I know is that my Godchildren were screaming with joy when I gave them this game. While visiting them, I heard them laughing and having so much fun playing and for me that meant I did okay buying this game for them :-) ![]() Cabela's Big Game Hunter 2010 with Gun Bundle $49.99 This Gun is so much easier to use than the white ones! This game is really fun for our younger (age 3, 4, & 6) children to play. Thanks ![]() Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga $19.99 For play, you need the basic Wii, the controller that usually comes with it, and you need to have the numchuck control (it holds the force and is how you change characters. You'll also use this for boxing games on the Wii). All the characters are from Lego mini figures, and the ships, levers, and buildings are made of legos, so none of the violence is remotely real- it's all done with toys.=) My son says: Every single Star Wars episode from 1 to 6 is represented. From episode one you can play an extremely simple game called negotiations, you go through corridors full of dangers, trying to survive multiple droids in order to get to a droid transportation ship to hi-jack. There are podraces. The last level for episode three is called Darth Vader, you're Darth Vader, first crossing a fragile floor, trying to avoid the lava below, fighting Anakim, and multiple droids. There's a hoth battle (from episode five), you're in Luke's ship and you have to bomb your way through multiple doors and avoid the spydroids. Wii is more fun than game cube because in levels like the podrace you can actually know what you're doing and be going extremely fast. This game works better when you use the controls on the Wii remote, pressing the buttons gives you more control over your moves than swinging. For instance, you press A two times you'll double jump in the air. If you press B in midair, then you'll be kneeling in the air on the way down and can destroy almost anything. You can react faster with the Wii games than with game cube, too. I like it because, unlike other computer games, my son mostly plays it standing up and moving around. |
