This movie is hilarious. Totally inaccurate, but hilarious. (If you think Beethoven 1. would be conducting before 1850 and 2. wouldn't know when his piece that HE WROTE ended, you're sorely mislead.) Good for people who don't know anything about music; bad for anyone who has any respect for the dead and music. Please don't show this in schools; you'll make kids think that Beethoven was crazy along with every other composer ever. Please don't tell kids lies by showing this or AMADEUS or any other bogus "music" movie.

We've watched the entire series through twice and consider it the best period drama ever made, with brilliant performances, great scripts and superb production design. If you've not seen this masterpiece, you're missing something out of your television viewing life. Not to be missed, and highly recommended. The quality of this release is generally quite good though if rating the set purely on image quality, it would only be a 3 out of 5.

Shane & Shane have a heart for God that is so evident in their music, it's awesome how they can take you into deep worship. And Upstairs is a great cd. It starts out really well with Psalm 13, great passionate song, and over all I would say the songs are good, but this cd has a slightly more rustic feel to it than let's say Carry Away and so to me it has a little bit of lackluster. I give it four stars instead of five for that reason. I definitely couldn't give it any less than four stars because this cd shines, like I said before the worship and intimacy with God shown in this cd makes it hard for me to give it any less than four, but I guess after listening to Carry Away (Carry Away being my favorite) I judge it by that standard. But I have to give them a huge shout out to them for recording this in barely any time. Some of my favorites on this cd are Psalm 13, Holy, Beauty for Ashes, The Answer, and Chapter One. And even though I like Carry Away better I would absolutely recommend this cd, it's really good!
