I used to be a APC advocate. But with the price points of CyberPower it was hard not to try. I usually only pick model numbers from the top of each category. In CyberPower's case, CP1000 or CP1500. I did not find a major price difference within each category's models to choose from.

I probably purchased and installed 7 or 8 CP1000s and 4 or 5 CP1500 based on the amount of connectivity and critical uptime needed.

To this date, I only had 1 DOA unit (a CP1000). As always a pain to have to ship a product back, after receiving a RMA, CyberPower was very quick to diagnose the issue and perform a RMA.

Overall, very pleased with the product(s). Like the LCD display along with the automatic voltage regulation feature. The basic software included is easy to understand, although I wish it had email alerts.

This UPS is the third, I've had in the past 10 years. I plugged it in and 24 hours (allowing enough time to properly charge the batteries) later connected my two tower computers. It's weathered a couple of electrical storms so far without a squeak. My machines ran as though it were a sunny day. The UPS runs very cool, far cooler than previous models, I've owned. And, the batteries are replaceable. All in all, this UPS seems to be doing the job far better than my previous UPS'.

This battery back up is very nice because it allows me to see and monitor and modify the various attributes and performance of the power supply on my computer monitor as well as view its performance its own display screen.
