![]() uni-ball Stick Micro Point Roller Ball Pens, 12 Black Ink Pens(60151) $19.56 I could write a sonnet to this pen.....how do I love thee, let me count the ways. The Uni-Ball Stick Roller Pen writes with consumate ease. The black ink is opaque, smooth, dries instantly without a smudge. The micro fine 0.05 mm pen point is capable of creating a complex line of refinement, delicacy and assured strength. Nothing spidery or shy here. One's stumble-bum handwriting becomes graceful and fluid. Words are shaped into calligraphic poetry. Writing becomes effortless. The pen is light yet balanced in the hand. Easy to hold and a pleasure to use, even for the smallest hand. And, if all that was not enough, this pen looks damned good. The design is timeless, cool, refined. A tapered column of matte black set off by a long chrome bar clip. "Take my cap off and use me" it purrs. "Together, we will go far" ![]() uni-ball Vision Stick Needle Fine Point Roller Ball Pens, 8 Colored Ink Pens(1734916) $16.40 I am not pleased with these. Even though these are advertised as 'needle fine point', the line they produce is thicker than uniball's 207 Retractable *Medium Point* Gel Pens. Of course they write smoothly as we have come to expect from uniball pens but the ink flows copiously. If you are looking for a pen to be able to write precisely and with a fine line, these are NOT for you. ![]() uni-ball 207 Retractable Medium Point Gel Pens, 8 Colored Ink Pens(1739929) $18.14 These are great pens. They have all the features I look for in a pen: gel ink, various colors, ease & comfort of use, and they're "clicky." The only reason that I give them 4 stars is because of few of them have taken a while to "warm up" to use; they seem to get better as I go, but they're not functioning at 100% from the get-go. I've used three colors so far: black, blue, and light blue. I've used the light blue while grading papers over the last couple of days, and the gel doesn't flow quite as freely as I'd like it to; I'm hoping it'll improve. The black had a bit of the same difficulty, being hesitant to release ink when I wrote in a certain direction (eg, on the left half of letters, etc). The darker blue showed none of these difficulties and works like a charm. And yes, the ink dries quickly enough that it won't get on your hands, which is such a pain with normal pens. I'm hoping that with a bit of use, these pens will all work wonderfully, as I'm sure from the other reviews they will. I already went out and purchased another set of the same pens in all black. :) ![]() uni-ball Signo Gel 207 Retractable Roller Ball Pen, Medium Point, Translucent Barrel, Black Ink, 12-Pack (33950) $27.00 This pen is an amazing pen. I purchased it mainly because I thought it was interesting how the ink had a special way of ingraining itself on paper to prevent check-washing. I started using it in my everyday work, and I love it. It writes incredibly smoothly and there are very few times when it has not given off ink when writing a letter. This pen is a very consistent pen and worth all the money you may spend on it. And the fact that this package is a 12-pack is great... buying this pack will definitely last you a long while! |
