I'm usually an advocate of the mindset that melody has long since left rock, and that young bands with guitars depend on 4 chords and stompboxes to compensate for their lack of creativity. If these guys weren't a local favorite that occasionally play at the Storm Cellar, located in a great coffee house I frequent, I probably would have written them off as yet another touring band per usual. As I was sipping my double macchiato one night, "Calling Us All Back Home" came on the Safehouse Coffee airwaves. WOW!! Who was this band? Modern, yet vintage. Driving, yet musical. Edgy vocals, yet melodic. And appropriate, killer guitar. In your face, but well-balanced. I immediately went home and downloaded the album (see, I told you I was old--it's still an album to me). No disappointment here. Each cut stands well on its own, yet cohesive to the project. Faves include "Bobby Mavis" and "How Love is Made", but I didn't find a throwaway in the bunch. These guys are staying on my playlist. Quite a promising debut, guys.

This stroller is not ready to ship from the manufacturer. I ordered it about one month ago and have yet to receive it. This is really dissapointing, but I still want it. I will write a product review once I receive it.
Update: I received the stroller and returned it. It's top heavy and doesn't go over curbs well. It looks cool, but I was frustrated that it didn't handle well. The cup holder was small, too. It's not worth the price.
