Sole F80 Treadmill
Sole F80 Treadmill

$1,999.99
We bought the Sole F80 about three weeks ago and I'm very happy with it. It was easy to assemble, less than two hours. It's ultra quite when you run on it, and we have it on our second floor. The quick speed and incline buttons are easy to use. The speakers work great. My only real complaint is that I don't think the cushioning is as well designed as I had hoped. After running my legs/calves are physically pained. I would however, recommend this product to a friend!

Bowflex Series 7 Treadmill

We bough it in September 2009. Used it for three months now. Good item, no complains. It is too small for me - I am almost 7 ft and the handles just are not high enough. I get without them.

Delivery - it was basic in home delivery - not sure what it meant, but the delivery guy dropped it off in front of our porch and left. This item is heavy, but I managed to get it inside the house alone - it has wheels and we have sturdy flat path to our house. To move it inside the house - had to use some help. Difficult, but manageable. Two or three people should be able to lift it up.

Assembly was not too complicated, threading the wires took longer then expected. some holes were not aligned well enough, but little force was sufficient to push the bolts through.

First several weeks as you will use it, it will smell like a new car. But the smell will go away. Not too noisy, we use it downstairs and can't hear much upstairs. Controls are adequate and the unit's quality is sufficient. Some plastic handles could be better built, but ...

Purchase this if you are getting a manual treadmill, you will need it after a few days of using the treadmill. I have a hard time getting it sprayed evenly on the belt but it really helps!

I was concerned that this treadmill would feel flimsy or be noticeably shorter or narrower than standard treadmills, but it's a very good size for a nice full stride. I never feel like I'm shortening my stride because I'm out of track. I bought it so I wouldn't have to exercise at night in the dark or leave my daughter home while I exercise -- safety is worth $599! Tack on the free shipping and no tax, and this is a great deal.

When I saw the older woman moving it around with ease in the video I expected it to be lighter than it is. I'm 36 and in decent shape, and it's kind of heavy. It rolls easily, though, and unfolds easily also. It's just maneuvering it in tight places that is a bit tricky because of its size and weight. I have a very small bedroom taken up mostly by a queen bed. The treadmill does fit under my bed height-wise, but it sticks out length-wise about 3 inches because I can only fit it perpendicular to the way I sleep. If you're planning to put it under your bed, either have a king-size bed or make sure you can maneuver the treadmill so that it goes under the bed head to toe rather than perpendicular to the way you sleep.

The track took more adjustment than I was anticipating after loosening it to lubricate it. I'm still tweaking it after 10 uses to keep it in the middle (or close to it).

And like others, I can't get the heart rate monitor to work. But I don't really care about that.

All in all, this is a solid machine for my purposes -- daily walking in the safety of my very small home.
