I Recently bought "Time Has Come" on an impulse out of a Walmart sale bin. LOVED IT!!! So then, picked up "Timeless". Yawn. I was bored stiff with most of the tracks. All done better by others. Admittedly, I am not a major country fan. I just know what I like. Then I received my first Carrie Underwood CD, "Carnival Ride" as a gift and was blown away. That girl can sing! I'm afraid Martina paled in comparison, at least for my taste. I think the "Timeless" songs, all famous standards do nothing for her, whereas the songs on "Time Has Come" all really worked with her voice. Just my opinion. If you are new to Martina, I'd start with "Time Has Come".

Bought the album based on others reviews. Hank Williams songs just aren't the same when sung by someone else. Newer renditions certainly sound better, quality wise, as opposed to an old scratchy vinyl. I guess I am just a purist and appreciate the originals as opposed to Bob Dylan or Keith Richards version.

Most of the takes are really fun, I just don't like their take on "Samba da Bencao".
The hip-hop beat mixed with bossa nova rhythm was just waaay too forced. Makes my ears bleed. Marcelo D2 doesn't make it any easier by talking as if he was on a Live concert through the last 30 seconds of the song.
Also, I find it hard to let "Bananeira" being molested into a Reggaeton, but it is growing on me.
However, what they did to "Mas que nada" is just a lot of fun.
Cracks me up when Will.I.Am. says "...Sergio play yo Piano, Sergio play yo...". That is just funny.
India.Arie totally nailed "Timeless" too.
I'm Brazilian and I'm really proud of my music.
This CD has my seal of approval.
