 Bounce: The Art of Turning Tough Times into Triumph $21.00 BOUNCE was written for those of us who don't have the patience or ability to digest more lengthy and heavy business non-fiction. The author is well versed in the subject and shares it in a way that is educational and motivational. Did I learn how to be the CEO of a major corporation? No. But I didn't have that expectation when I started this book. Did I gain some simple insight on how to be a more effective manager during the economic downturn? I think so. The fictional story was distracting at times, but that is forgiven because it makes the material easily digestable. Simple reading for simple minds that want a few simple thoughts, tips, and motivation. You know, the one with the T-Rex in it. So perusing the Amazon menu I spotted a menu picture with a T-Rex in it. Ugh! I got this dog of a movie instead. It took me a while to catch on. I kept waiting for it to get funny. C Thomas Howell is second only to Dolph Lundren as a marque name guaranteeing movie junk. My advice: actually read the title of the film you rent. |
