![]() Clifford The Big Red Dog Thinking Adventures $19.99 This game is great. It's a graphic adventure not all that different from Return to Zork, except it's been lowered to a child's level. My son is 4 years old, and he plays the game over and over. The puzzles change a little each time, adding a lot of reply value. ![]() Thinking (4th Edition) $61.60 This book was very enlightening and I've added to my collection of foundational works. The book provides a fresh and alternative perspective regarding how we think. ![]() Music to Inspire Positive Thinking $15.99 I have found that things have gotten a little tough for me and my Mom suggested I get this. It's very calming and beautiful music. I just took a test for my online class and found I was relaxed rather than my heart beating like crazy. I got a 32/35 which made my day! It can't hurt to try it. ![]() Thinking Of You $0.99 This had potential to be Katy Perry's signature ballad, but in this day and age there just doesn't seem to be much of a market for romance. It's in the same vein as Madonna's "Crazy for You" or Avril Lavigne's "I'm With You;" a ballad you can easily envision young girls singing at the top of their lungs, into their hairbrushes in front of their vanities. Although the sentiment of it is a bit juvenile, the melody and production are straightforward and tender and Perry gives a strong, albeit not immediately accessible, vocal performance. The accompanying videos (yes, there are two) also help illustrate the two different interpretations of the lyrics that most people seem to have; whether Perry is singing from the perspective of a jilted lover or of an adulteress racked with guilt. It's touching and well-composed. This song is a gem. |
