 What They Want: A Novel $14.00 i am usually a fan of tyree's books, but this one was a complete disappointment and utterly boring. it took me almost 2 weeks to read this book because it was so boring and badly written that i had to force myself to finish it. cons: 1)this book was wayyyy too long. there was no need for this book to be over 400 pages. 2)the storyline was too redundant. we didn't need to be introduced to 10+ different women to understand the main character's lifestyle, disrespectful attitude, womanizing tendancies, personality, etc. the storyline was completely predictable and tyree could've spared us 200 pages afer we were introduced to the 1st 3 women. 3)it seemed like tyree didn't have a clear plan for this book or what he wanted to happen. it was more like a bunch of rambling about some guy's life that wasn't all that interesting to begin with. 4)the ending was too unrealistic and tyree didn't take the time to develop the last female character so the reader didn't really have a connection with the purpose for the way the book ended. i could honestly go on and on about other cons with this book (that's just how bad this book was), but thought i would just list the major issues for me. pros: a few (and i do mean few) steamy sex scenes |
