![]() Honeywell TH8320U1008 7day 3/h 2/c Touchscrn Programmable Thermostat $264.50 thermostat works great.. the hardest part is figureing out the wires/conections from your old system.. i installed to a newer heat pump.. read both manuals and install the batteries and sit on the couch and program.. its that easy.. one note from prev installer.. you can set 2 differant lockouts for a heat pump.. 1 is when the emergency heat activates between 60 degrees down to 40 degrees.. the other is when the heat pump is locked out and only the emergency heat will work, it will start at 35 degrees and go down to 15.. you have the choice of going all the way to 15 degrees.. both the emergency heat and the heat pump work between 40/15 and 40/60 degrees.. as long as you take you time and program it, its easy.. once installed on the wall you can still tweek your setup.. for me the heat controls the O/B.. when the heat pump changes to heat it flips the valve.. i found out in the test menu, test heat and AC turned on.. so i changed the O/B to 1 and it fixed it.. happy installing ![]() WIN100 Heating & Cooling Programmable Outlet Thermostat $59.99 I bought an electric space heater with the thermostat built in. The problem was the thermostat was influenced by the sensor being too close to the heating element. This thermostat allows me to seperate the thermostat from the heater. No more unrealistic readings. It works very well and is worth every penny. Free shipping and no sales tax also a plus. ![]() Honeywell RTH7500D Conventional 7-Day Programmable Thermostat $89.99 Great thermostat. Have a heat pump with emergency heat, so it dramatically limited the number of thermostats that would do the job. Took the old thermostat off the wall, mounted the new base with wiring, and performed the initial programming before 'snapping' the base and the CPU/Display together. A breeze and much better than the standard Honeywell thermostat it replaced. I recommend this thermostat highly and Amazon was $20 cheaper then purchasing at Lowes. Hard to believe, the HVAC company wanted $500 for this thermostat and the labor to install it. Took about 60 minutes to install and program. GO AMAZON! ![]() Honeywell RTH6400D 5-1-1-Day Programmable Thermostat $69.99 The price is right and the features are what I needed. Add in easy set up and you have a great product. The price was much lower than what local brick and mortar stores offer. It took me less than an hour from opening the package to finishing the programming. Don't let the word programming scare you. You literally press the program button and select a day, time and temp. The 5-1-1 works great for us as we work the 5 work days and are home most weekends. The programming is easy enough to change if we are going to be gone for a weekend. I recommend this to anyone that needs a programmable thermostat with one setting for week days and one for Saturday and Sunday. |
