![]() 8in1 Tear Clear - Tear Stain Remover, 4-Ounce $5.99 Works well. I have a malti-poo and works fast and good. No irritation to pet. ![]() Tear Soup $19.95 What a great book this is! I found it at Hoke's Bookstore in downtown Ogallala NE and thumbed through it and knew I had to have it. As soon as I got home I read it. I have ordered at least 4 more. It is a great gift to give to someone, along with the expected sympathy card that we all send. I like it because it does not deal with what happens to the deceased after the death but, rather, what happens to the loved one left behind. It is all about the grieving process and explains it in a most comforting and beautiful way. Most folks have their own belief system as far as what happens after death, as do I. That is not where the help is needed. Very few understand what is happening with the grieving part of the matter. They experience feelings that they deem inappropriate, such as anger, and don't know how to process these feelings. This book is very helpful in this respect. One of the most important points it makes is that grief is an individual thing and everyone has to deal with it in his/her own way. Wonderful book!!! ![]() Natures Tears EyeMist, Twin Pack 2 X 1 OZ $14.10 The ingredient is "Absolute Premium Standard Bio-Logic Aqua tissue-culture grade of water," which I take to mean water. I didn't expect even the best of water on my eye to lubricate as well or last as long as the gel drops I'd been using, and I was right. This product alone is not sufficient to relieve my dry eye. The best way I've found of using this is to still use my regular eye drops but then top off with this stuff when I start to feel a little dry. Used this way, I find it lets me wait a little longer before I need more drops. It sprays all over the top of your face but if you're at home where a wet face is acceptable this can actually be a good thing as it gives you a little extra humidity around the eye while the water evaporates. I wear glasses and suspect that this increases the benefit from that humidity by keeping some of the moisture near my eyes. I live in a very hot and dry climate where a little extra humidity can help a lot; for someone in a wetter climate the wet face business will probably just be an annoyance. This is a useful product under the right conditions and I will order it again, but I'm more than a little annoyed at the cost. This stuff costs $6 for one ounce of water. In what universe is this okay? I guess the container costs money, but if that's the issue why not use a bigger container? If you have moderate dry eye and live in a dry climate, the $12 twin pack is going to last you just over a week. Oh, and I don't wear makeup but my educated guess is that if your eye makeup and foundation are not ready to run through a sprinkler, your eye makeup and foundation are not ready for Nature's Tears Eye Mist. |
