This is a solid Product, yes it is made out of plastic, yes you have to customize yourself, and yes it does scratch if you mishandle it, many things do. Instructions can be found in the pictures here and on the keg works website, just look or if your brave cut some paper and make a template. This tap looks fantastic with my labels in them, and the weight of the pull on the tap is good, not to heavy and not super light. If you are not a DIY kind of person don't order this, if you want a custom tap for under $20 you have to do some work. Other reviewers never gave it a chance, and that is a sad fact because it is a good product.
I own 2 so far, and I'm going to order a few more.
