This swim glove is made of neoprene with a nylon colored back and a black rubberized palm. The fingers and thumb are open on the ends. They are a bit stiff when new but loosen up after 1 or 2 uses. The gloves some in sizes small to extra large, so you need to know what size you need before you order. I use them for water aerobics but they are also good for increasing resistance while swimming. I have used these before and find them to be a very good product.

I've used the paddles for about 3-4 months now.

Medium size is about 8" long and fits average hands well. My finger tips are slightly short of the upper edge. You don't want the paddles to extend further than an inch from your fingers.

Depending on your stroke you may need a larger or smaller paddle. More complex hand movements require smaller paddles

Freestyle/Breast stroke: larger to medium
Butterfly/back stroke: small to medium

The paddles come with extra straps and are sturdy enough. they fit very snugly -which is necessary- and I can see how some one could break them, but I have not had to replace them with regular use.

The fabric on this suit isn't super-smooth, so I imagine it wouldn't be appropriate for competition, but the fit, price and quality are ideal for someone who hits the pool 3-5 times a week for exercise. I'm super-pleased with this find and plan to order another as soon as the first starts to wear out! Thanks Speedo, thanks Amazon!
