 Basix Magic Jumbo Sunshade (Styles May Vary) $9.99 I ordered these because the page suggested they would be the aluminized reflective shades, but what came was the nonreflecting plasticized cloth shades. They are much hotter (but durable), and you can get them at any auto parts store. "Styles May Vary" should really say "Product May Vary", since a "Style" would be some printing, slogan or pattern on the shade. So I went to Wal Mart and found them on the shelf. Apparently there is no indication on the package which kind it contains, so you have to visually inspect it before buying. In any case, the reflective sheet is very fragile, so that may be why they are so hard to find. I actually reinforce them around the edge with clear tape, then they last about 3 years.  Cool Shade $3.95 I bought this since it was the #1 selling car shades, but after installing, I had immediate regrets. It clings well if you clean your window. It works to block out the sun. However, it looks so cheap, both from the inside and outside! It is literally just a piece of static cling. And I spent forever trying to get it flat, without bubbles on the windows so it looks good. Once these shades die, I will not buy them again.  Basix Magic Shade Super Jumbo Sunshade $16.48 Overall tem is good, just a little thin and frgile but it does his job well. |
