I installed these last week in my E46 M3 and have been very impressed. Much better low bass than my old 12's. Hooked up to the same amp a 1000-watt mosfet and capacitor. For the price you can't go wrong. Very clean and solid construction of the box and hasn't moved since I installed, though plan on a strap or brackets to ensure no movement under hard braking.

Lights are nice and don't distract.

No problems so far and have cranked to where the Harmon Kardons crackle and the bass is still solid. Need to replace interior speakers now and install dynomatt!

I looked at this sub at a local furniture store (RC Willeys). The salesman recommended it and said it was a great sub for the price ($299.00) after looking around, Amazon has the best price so I ordered it. I have had it for about a week and I am very impressed. I have paired this with a set of in wall surround sound speakers and a Onkyo TX-SR607 receiver. Gives good clear bass almost all the time. In some instances I have modified the settings from the receiver to fit the listening mode ie-Music/Movie/Game. I think the key to this subwoofer is having a receiver with good signal output and equalizer controls etc. I have this set up in a very large vaulted great room and it fills the entire room with good bass sound. I think the bad reviews on this product are most likely coming from either 1. The people that complain all the time because they are complainers or 2. The people that think a nice powered subwoofer is going to somehow increase the low quality of their receiver! Unless you are an super audio aficionado, I say go for this sub! Cant beat the price...besides you can always find someone to pawn it off on if you decide to drop $500 plus on a ultra high end sub!

The picture simply doesnt do this justice .. Its huge .. Very attractive unit made solid and obviously built to last .. Comes with everything you need ... Love the controls on the back .. Xrossover around 120 lvl around 3/4 max and prepare to be thumped .. I read others saying this rattles at high lvls .. dont believe it The only rattling will be the knick knacks on the shelves and the walls lol ... This is an awesome unit ... Just remember its MUCH larger than the picture suggests

i received my kenwood KFC-W3012 12 inch subwoofer in a box the looked like it had been used to house stray cats. The bottm of the box had all most opened all the way, when i opened the box up there was 1 or 2 crushed up sheets of news paper and 1 thin sheet of bubble wrap. taking the woofer out of the box the pastic covering that housed the magnate had broken off completely and i have'nt hooked it up to see if it works yet but im not getting my hopes up.
i dont know what bubba from indy packed this item but he should be fired and so should his boss!
