 Parenting Without Power Struggles: Raising Joyful, Resilient Kids While Staying Cool, Calm and Connected $14.95 I love the title of Susan's book. It speaks so clearly to the power struggles that we all experience with children and even with one another. I have children and have worked around children (high school guidance counselor) most of my adult life. I have not seen such practical examples and "how to" guidance when dealing with our own questions of why things are not going better in our relationships. Thank you so much for putting my instincts and understandings into words. I will be recommending your book to many parents, teachers and friends.  Mayfair Games Catan Histories Struggle for Rome $48.99 If you like the Settlers of Catan board games, you should like this one. Our family has an age range of 10 year old to 19 years and this is something we can all sit down and do together. It's not a quick game however, so plan on a 2-3 hour time frame. It doesn't have the extension parts like Settlers, so only 3 or 4 people can play...this limits total play by larger families or groups. I also found with all the small pieces, it was best to sort and store them in small baggies that were not provided. My kids love this game and the time we spend together playing it.  The Vampire Diaries: The Awakening and The Struggle $9.99 I was introduced to TVD by a friend who had read them years ago, so I decided to give it a try. I love The Vampire Diaries!! Im big into vampire stories right now and books like The Vampire Diaries and Twilight are the best out there!! This book series is as great as to be expected, it starts off slow but picks up pretty good!! |
