y'know, it's a nice, laminated map with some other info, too. BUT...consider that your hotel(for FREE), every 24 hour drug store (and there are MANY), and half of the other stores will have an ABUNDANCE of maps, many inexpensive. and any device with internet access will give you precise directions, including SUBWAY and BUS and WALKING. so don't panic, think about it. of course, it's hardly a major purchase.

I live in Hawaii and buy these maps for people visiting. It's a small map that pops out and has a bunch of little information. I think it comes in especially handy on Waikiki. The map has pretty much every hotel downtown and in Waikiki on it in an easy to read layout. Very helpful for people walking around trying to find their way. Fits in a pocket or purse.

This micro SD card by Garmin really expands the capabilities of my Vista Hcx. I've used it on trips to Canada as well as the Northeast and Southwest United States, and it's been almost infallible. The street maps were up to date, even with recent street name changes. The alerts for turns could come a little sooner--if the speed limit is 45 or higher, sometimes the alert sounds when you should already be in the turning lane. Overall, though, a really good and useful product.
