Some Mistakes You Never Stop Paying For $15.98 god what a breath of fresh air. if you haven't heard suicide file, they're a great, extremely simple rock n roll-hardcore band, leaning HEAVILY towards the rock side. think bars, verse, and lots of tough guy bands, except really freakin good. great lyrics that deal with more than beating people up, getting drunk, or never getting drunk. sure, some of the songs are about girls, hating them, or missing them(though a lot less lame than that sounds) but it's all completely excusable in light of "f-ck fox news" "2003" "ascroft" and "i hate rock n roll." there's so much hate on this album...i couldn't be happier. i've missed bands with something to say that i actually care to hear. anyway, this is a collection of b-sides and eps and demos, etc. it's actually a better value for your money than the full length Twilight, which was barely 20 minutes. this does have some repeat songs, and some pretty roughly mixed ones, but it hardly matters. the song writing is excellent, and the lyrics are often very rewarding. it's a real shame these guys aren't around anymore. also you gotta respect a band that has the balls to call it's collection of b-sides "some mistakes you never stop paying for"  No More Turkeys: An Employer's Guide to Stop Paying People to Not Work $17.50 This book provided valuable insight to a growing problem in business; managing employee entitlement programs. Mr. Powers' personal experiences gave a candid, although at times cynical, perspective. His stories were true-to-life and would be humorous, save the sheer truthfulness and reality of the subject matter.This prescriptive compilation of essays should be a "must read" for all employers desiring to stay in business. |
