I liked this Animaniacs collection, but it wasn't my favorite. Unlike the other reviewers, I would think that if you owned only one, you would want some of the classics. You don't want Brain in Button's place, you want a classic "Pinky & The Brain." I am an Animaniacs purist. :)

I can definitely see why people gave this movie a bad review: it's kinda boring. That's not to say I didn't enjoy the film. It was good, but most of the great jokes didn't happen until the second half of the movie. And with this movie's 84 minute run-time, that's not a compliment. The comedy and semi-serious moments were just too unbalanced and choppy. I went into this movie to laugh, and laughter definitely ensued. Whether it's the sheer stupidity of the narration or a well written penis joke, I was at least entertained, and that's all that really matters.

Animaniacs Sing-Along: Yakko's World [VHS]

Okay yes they do talk fast, but this particular video has a great learning addition: both Wakko's America and Yakko's world is on this tape. Even if they kids don't get all of it, they'll pick up on some of it, and before you know it, maybe they'll recite the state capitals without much trouble.It is fun, and while not all of the tape is relavent to the classroom, Animaniacs do provide a screen for learning that isn't evidant in many other 'educational' tapes.
