I don't have much to add to what everybody else has already said. It's an enjoyable book and I was amazed by how well the Stephen Colbert personality comes across on the page. Somebody mentioned that reading the book it was like hearing Colbert speak the words-- absolutely true. Overall, a truly fun and funny read-- unless, for some reason, you're not in the mood for fun or funny.

The TEK JANSEN comic envisions comedian Stephen Colbert as a galactic agent who is hot with the babes and murder on the Black Hats (in a grossly indiscriminate "major collateral damage / SLEDGE HAMMER" sort of way).

Alas, TEK JANSEN ends up being a one-joke sort of item, implemented in an indifferent way, following in the path of FUTURAMA as a slapstick sci-fi adventure -- and doing an inferior job of it. FUTURAMA's not the greatest thing since ice cream by any means, but it flies rings around TEK JANSEN. Save your money.
