I was desperate for an easy-to-use slideshow program to do a show for my husband for our 30th wedding anniversary. Well, he cried--so what can I say--it was fantastic! After a short time getting used to the nuances of the software I had no problems pulling in my pics, adding effects, and dubbing music. I'm not one to read a lot--I want it to be intuitive and it was. Just remember to drag and drop your effects on your storyboard. I love this and will use it many times over!

The software would not install from the disc. I had to contact the software company to download an executable.
Once the software is installed. It is adequate, though not very intuitive. They also have online video links that require you to type in with a complicated product ID 'everytime' you use the link with no way to download the video clips onto your system, should you need them when you are not connected to the internet. That is a poorly designed feature that does not indicate to me that this software was intended for a laptop or mobile device.

I bought this program for my father's 80th birthday. we weanted to do a big slideshow. I am not the most computer savy person, and this program is really easy! The picture show was great. The best part was I put it on a DVD and played it at the party - and then my father when home with the DVD. He watches it every day.

Short and the sweet. SI has been in existence for over 50+ years now. You would think that they would have more pictures available to create a book of 300 pages or more. This book, or "pamphlet", at 170+ pages is sparse, and not what I expected from SI. The binding is poorly made, and you could possibly loose the pages if not careful. I also think the presentation/format leaves much to be desired, skimping on full reproductions of the slides. If your a "die-hard" SI fan, and have the money to blow.....then I guess you will. For me the book is going back, and I give this book an enthusiastic "DO NOT BUY!!!!"
