My Marpac replaced a fan that was gradually falling apart. The Marpac looks better and sounds better. My first choice would have been a sound machine I purchased years ago from the Museum of Modern Art, but that machine faded away and I haven't been able to find another like it. Now, after having my Marpac for several weeks, I'm not so sure I wouldn't choose it over the MOMA machine.

Paul McKenna has spent more than 20 years researching insomnia and presents an easy to follow set of steps and clear, concise advice for resetting the body's sleep patterns. The book contains tips and exercises for encouraging natural rhythms of sleep.

However, I felt that the very best part was the hypnosis CD included with the text. McKenna has such a soothing voice that I fell asleep while listening to his other CD, I CAN MAKE YOU THIN! When I saw that he had this likely even more relaxing CD to help with deep, refreshing sleep I had to try it. I'm glad I did because it works.

He has a very straightforward approach to ending insomnia and his CD is incredibly soothing. I Loved it and I think you will too!

Sleep's Holy Mountain is generally considered one of the cornerstone's in stoner rock/metal. Now of course, you don't need to be a stoner to enjoy this music, and in fact, Sleep made quite an impressive album here. As a musician who loves improvisation, I enjoy the jamming that the power trio does throughout the album. Songs such as "Evil Gypsy/Solomon's Theme" and "Holy Mountain" showcase their skillful, sludgy jamming. Also, we have some nice bluegrass guitar on "Some Grass", and the opener "Dragonaut" has, let's be honest, probably one of the sexiest grooves ever for a metal song!
Sleep reminds me a lot of Black Sabbath, but with usually gruffer, but understandable, vocals. The lyrics are first-rate, delving deeply into fantasy as you can get, and the music sets the perfect mood for it. Overall, this is definitely a classic album that may be hard to obtain, but well worth the effort. I find myself listening to it over and over again. Thanks for the time, and peace.

I ordered the book. I immediately realized the shipping address was wrong. I emailed the company with the correct shipping instructions. The purchase price had been 1 cent. The shipping of 3.99 was of which they would make about 1.50.

So the book gets sent to the wrong address. They write an email saying "so sorry, but we cannot adjust a shipping address after the order is placed," although it admittedly had not yet been processed or shipped. So the book is returned, and they graciously credit my card with the .01.

They are idiots. Please do no further business with such people. I'm not concerned with the 3.99 either. It's peanuts.

However, the pain of not receiving the desired book, plus their having ignored a followup email in which I offered them far more than 1 cent for the book should they choose to send it to the new address I provided. They are ignoring me, and my complaint. Let them ignore this too. It's essential that you know that the seller was "Snowlion Books."
