 The Singing Bee $24.99 The Singing Bee is not a good game for groups. It is confusing and disjointed and needs a lot of organization to pull off as a group game. Also, the questions are extremely difficult. Very few of us could guess the answers with the hints.  Vocal Workouts for the Contemporary Singer (Vocal) (Berklee Press) $24.95 This is a required book, for a required class at my school. I am pleasantly surprised at how good this book is. The exercises are well designed and fun to do. And most importantly, they have helped me improve in my problem areas.  The Complete Idiot's Guide to Singing $24.95 This book has all the basics about how to sing. There is no substitute for private lessons or a voice class, however this book is a very excellent supplement or text book. The CD included is good but the presentations tend to be a little fast. I recommend this book highly.  Voice Lessons To Go Volume 1: Vocalize and Breath $19.99 So far from using the audio CD I can see it might be useful. But it was not what I expected. I really don't like any of exercises that she has you doing I wanted more of breathing techniques. But I will give it another shot and hopefully I will be successful. |
