It is so useless, I plan on reselling it immediately. The "advice" could not be more obvious, as others have mentioned. What I thought was MOST useless was the fact that many of the suggestions in this "simple living" book suggest things you should BUY! How is acquiring more STUFF simple living? especially since all the things that are suggested are not even multi-purpose items (like a pop can dispenser for your fridge?) Or are MORE expensive, like pre-packaged dishwaher gel packs... as a suggestion to save time measuring out dishwashing detergent!! here are some direct quotes: "candles are a quick and easy way to provide warm ambiance to your dining room. Whether you're using a candelabra or candlesticks, use disposable protective coasters to keep wax from dripping on your furniture." "Many manufacturers offer rebates to customers for purchasing their products. In most cases, all you have to do is fill in a coupon and send it to the manufacturer with proof of purchase. Depending on the product, you can get back a few bucks" Wow, candles add ambiance, rebates can be cashed in!?? this book is full of no-duh suggestions and is a total waste. |
