He says that they are very comfortable. The leather will need a bit of polish from time to time, only because with skating they get banged around faster. I just use Vaseline. As with any shoe used for skating, expect these to last about 2 months. (The grip tape surface on the top of skateboards wears the sole of the shoe down faster.)
