 OtterBox BlackBerry¢î Curve¢ï 8300 Series Case - Yell $49.95 I've read many reviews, and sites listing this case. I was going to get the black and yellow one but bought the all black instead. The case comes with three layers of protection as stated. The first is a plastic type membrane that covers the back and the front of the phone. If you are familiar with screen protectors then you will recognize that this is the same material just larger and formed to fit the phone like a glove. The second layer is a hard case that snaps around the phone holding the first in place and the third is a silicone shell that covers the second layer and keeps the whole package together like a suit of armor. On the yellow phone you are seeing the yellow is the hard case and the black is the silicone case. The black case is identical just all black. There is no functionality loss from the case. It is designed well and I can access all the buttons of the phone. The clear plastic inner case is form fitted to the keyboard and has a hole where the trackball fits through. The only problem I am having with it is getting the film to fit screen without bubbles but this is not a new issue with screen protectors. I looked on Otterbox's site but did not find a replacement skin if it gets worn. I will have to email them about that. Mine came with a holster and belt clip. The problem I have with the clip is that it is very loose and easy to open but the phone has not fallen off of my belt yet. Time will tell. Other than that I is a great and reasonable price for insurance for a phone that cost almost $300.
