I heard this album when a friend gave me some stuff he was listening to. I thought it was good enough to buy this copy. I wish I had heard this when I was going through those years, not many years later. He's good. Mostly, I get in a good feeling place and put his CD on and just move (dance)as the mood strikes me.

In an age where pop music goes out of date rather quickly, Seal overcame the odds and created something that has stood the test of time. When you pop a CD in 17 years after it's been recorded and it sounds brilliant - well, it deserves a review here doesn't it?

In fact, Seal's debut was so good that it was hard to improve on. Seal has never quite matched subsequent efforts with his first album's iconic status despite building a stellar career. "Crazy" and "Killer" and "Future Love Paradise" have become anthems across clubs and continents. Hats off to producer Trevor Horn for nailing this.

If you could or must get one Seal album, this is the one. The voice, the man, the songwriting, the production - everything was so ahead of its contemporaries that it's a joy to listen to. Seamless from start to end - Seal soars. Celebrate his talent here.

Got this album when it first came out. Feel it's a pretty good mix of the "old school" stuff from the first two records. Not as dance-oriented as the first, but not as pop as the second. It's somewhere in the middle.

This production isn't too much, so his amazing vocals really stand out. Writing it pretty strong. Not his best, but not bad. I'm holding him to a pretty high level, by the way. This would be a 5-star record for most people.

This is one of the better Seal records. I recommend it.

This is by far one of the best of the books I have read on the War on Terror. And I have read close to 100 so far. We all neeed to thank him and the families of the men who paid the ultimate price that day in Afganistan. A action packed story that will keep you reading from strt to finish without putting it down once----just as I did!
