I was recently diagnosed with MS 6 months ago. This book was the best book anyone in my position could have read. It was so helpful to me. I am in the process of sending the book to my parents who live in another state, so they too can understand the complexity of this disease. Hats off to the author.....

Dr. Howard Weiner has spent nearly three decades trying to find answers to the mysteries of multiple sclerosis, an utterly confounding and debilitating disease that afflicts almost half a million Americans. Curing MS is his moving, personal account of the long-term scientific quest to pinpoint the origins of the disease and to find a breakthrough treatment for its victims.Dr. Weiner has been at the cutting edge of MS research and drug development, and he describes in clear and illuminating detail the science behind the symptoms and how new drugs may hold the key to "taming the monster." I just received the CD yesterday and listened to it all day yesterday and today. Erik is such a talented artist with such wonderful, amazing words to his songs. The song "Brighter" brought tears to my eyes and truly shows his inner strength and love. I commend him for a wonderful CD and I commend him for his strength in fighting this horrible disease.
