I gave this product to a 7 year old HSM-mad girl for Christmas and it was put into immediate use by her and a friend. Perhaps, by now, she has actually noticed there are specific patterns or games but, even without that, she has had a very good time with it. The most I can say about its durability is that I've had no complaints in that regard. Educational? Perhaps not, except that anything active for the body is good for the brain. I'm pleased that the recipient is having a good time with her present.

This item was purchased as a Christmas Gift not yet given. My 5 year old granddaughter loves High School Musical and told us it's not on free Tv anymore so she can't watch it. I'm sure she will enjoy this. It arrived in good condition and on time. I know nothing of the series and there was little info to aid my choice.
