![]() On A Scary Scary Night (Can You See What I See?) $13.99 I purchased this book for my daughter at the beginning of October from her school's book fair. My daughter is 4 and is in pre-K and she absolutely loves this book. She has not read another book since I bought this for her and she picks this book every night at story time. I am definitely buy more of his books for her. ![]() Scary Movie $14.99 This isn't in the same league as Airplane! or Spaceballs. Here, the humor is more crude and . . . well . . . stupider. You won't get much toilet humor here, though. It's more about sex, homosexuality, stupid teenage girls, stoners, and, of course, the horror films of the late 90's. From "Scream" to "I Know What You Did Last Summer," It's always nice to see a spoof of these silly teenage horror flicks that give only cheap thrills. And not only that, there's even some "Matrix" and "Usual Suspects" thrown in. Despite its lack of originality, this is still very funny. So what if it's downright stupid? It's a comedy! It's made to make us all laugh. And MAN, did it make me laugh? I'm not really into the more recent spoofs (like "Epic Movie" and "Dance Flick") that fail in many levels, but the first two "Scary Movie" flicks I really enjoyed watching. The first one, in particular, has to be the funniest out of all of them. ![]() Scary Stories Boxed Set $17.97 As a teacher of reluctant readers, I found this series to be an invaluable asset in our classroom library. There is a nice mixture of humor and horror, written in engaging language that is easily accessible to the struggling high school reader. The illustrations are vivid and delightfully macabre. |
