 By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept: A Novel of Forgiveness $13.99 A friend of mine introduced me to Paulo Coelho and it has changed my life in ways I never expected I love his style of writing I don't know if it's because it is translated in to English or what but I just find his writing simply beautiful. By the River Piedra... is for me the book that just answered so many questions about God, the love of my life, and so much more I totally recommend this book to anyone looking for a book that will not just stay with you but take up residence in you.  Treasures of English Church Music $29.98 Multi-layered choral music and polyphony. An admixture - some ethereal, glorious and sublime, deep beauty. Others, somewhat less enjoyable. Well executed and thought out, and a good program for what it is. Three and a half to four star rating. Ken Cybulska  By Grand Central Station I Sat Down and Wept $13.95 I love poetry. But, the language here is so unbelievably overblown that this book lacks any semblance of reality at all. It reads like the rantings of a complete and total lunatic and as such is not at all compelling. I made it through 10 pages or so before I had to stop and after numerous attempts have never been able to continue reading it. If you want kids to grow up hating poetry make them read this from cover to cover. |
