Robin Gregory's Joy of Living Foods - How to make Raw Drinks, Snacks and Salads
Robin Gregory's Joy of Living Foods - How to make Raw Drinks, Snacks and Salads

$19.95
These fantastic raw food recipe DVDs finally arrived! I had read that this DVD was being produced, and had been waiting for it for a long time now, as well as the other two that I have also just received.

I actually met this lovely young lady when I visited Canada to see a Raw Food workshop and learned so much from her.

This DVD is perfect to learn the techniques, methods, and short-cuts that only someone preparing raw food meals daily knows; its focused snacks and desserts, and these are great treats for you, and for giving to non-raw food family members who think we eat 'rabbit food' only. All the dressings turned out fantastic, Balsamic, Ginger date and Poppyseed, etc, as will I enjoyed knowing how to store them, how long they will last, little tricks that worked to make them faster and better. You can see the raw food cafe where this was filmed, and it gave me a good perspective on how such a place is set up too.

My kids love the Kale chips! That and the Rawkalicious cookies!

What I liked best was it actually showed the full recipe, sauces, the making of them, etc, not expecting me to already know how some of the (what may be to some people) simple things are made. I also learned how to make things that I did know a differently, faster and with more flavor. Totally fantastic!

Too many times experts think that those of us just learning know all the methods to get a basil sauce or something simple for them, well, we don't and need to know. I also liked the fact that blender times were shown by caption, so I knew approximately how long I needed to blend, (without having to watch a blender on my DVD). Great job!

Everything turned out great, and was loved by even the non - raw food eaters here.

Simply Salads: More than 100 Delicious Creative Recipes Made from Prepackaged Greens and a Few Easy-to-Find Ingredients

*Her book contains more that 100 recipes made from prepackaged greens found in your vegetable aisle with a few extra easy-to-find ingredients!

* When I first zoomed through her book I realized that she was right about the easy-to-find items! I was very impressed at how she took all those prepackaged greens and put together quick, easy meals.

*I believe every recipe contains a large, mouth-watering picture! I'm a visual learner so this pictures made it very easy to toss together the ingredients into a lovely meal/side dish for my family.

This is a cookbook that you wish your local stores carried right in the aisle with the prepacked greens! This would be great business for Jennifer, of course, but also for the grocery and the customers!
She pointed out that these prepackaged salads have changed the way we eat salad. It is wonderful to pick up a bag of Fresh Herb Salad that includes such items as royal red oak, lolla rose to little gem and frisee! They are perfectly bagged and offer you a variety that most would not normally be able to toss together with what is found in local stores. I live in a tiny town of 6,000 so I know this for a fact!
