![]() Resident Evil - Extinction (Widescreen Special Edition) $14.94 This is a great zombie movie. i love this movie and so will you. I recommend this movie to everyone ![]() Resident Evil 4 $19.99 I played this entire game for the PC. i bought it for the wii because of how fun it was on the computer. i played less than the first level and put this game back in the box forever. Controlls are jerky and difficult to use. i hate this game for wii. nothing like i expected. ![]() Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles $49.99 After playing this game I felt this review had to be done. First let me say I was so excited about this game and it had such great potential but this is absolutely the worst RE game I have EVER played(to be honest I haven't played all of them but my husband has and this too is his review). Yes the graphics are amazing, defiantly better than any of the other games which is why I gave it a two star instead of a one like I really wanted to do. If you like a game where you don't have to do much battle with the zombies then this is the game for you but if you're like me and like the battles with large groups of them then this is not the game for you. The camera doesn't give you anytime to line up a shot and is constantly bouncing around so if you have a headache or are pron to motion sickness this is not the game for you either. Even though I was excited about this game it is now my least favorite and will be sold. ![]() The Umbrella Conspiracy (Resident Evil #1) $7.99 I'm a big fan of the Resident Evil video games, so I thought to give S.D. Perry's the "Umbrella Conspiracy" a read. Normally I think highly of Perry, but for this particular book, it reads as though she was multitasking with something else while typing the story. I mean, the book is identical to the first Resident Evil game, it's just like if you played the video game, and quickly wrote down what you remembered after you finished the final level. It reads kind of like a screenplay, the characters fight, and talk, there is no exploring the thoughts of the characters, there is no passion in the writing, it's just action and more talking, that's not what a good book is all about. There is nothing wrong with "freezing time" and explaining the horror of a zombie approaching a terrified character who is out of ammunition, I want to know what that's like, not just read about a character shooting, then yelling "duck" to someone, then shooting again...I have read Alien, Predator, and Star Trek books that have plenty of action, but also incorporate character development, and more depth and thought provoking storytelling. I wouldn't have finished it, but I was on a plane with nothing else to read, leave this one on the shelf. |
