this justifiably lauded trio of writer RUTH PRAWER JHABVALA , director JAMES IVORY and producer ISMAIL MERCHANT were a remarkable collabrative team . others here have done an extremely good job of explaining this magnificent film and its' many insights , observations and meaning . the gifted ensemble of actors does the equally remarkable feat of breathing life into this outstanding material . nothing left to do but add my vote and direct you to "HOWARD'S END" for more of the same . brilliant and stunning as great literature .

I'm not what the deal is with many of the other reviews written here - it almost like they didn't listen with an open mind. Many are turned off by the singing as well as the melodic content, other feel like the hooks lessen the value of the music. Hmmm, not sure what going on here. So let's get to the music! The overall vibe from the band is heavy, melodic and technically precise. Oli's guitar playing is superb, excellent solo's with an excellent and original style that incorporates swept arpeggios, tricky speed alt picked runs, tapped notes as well a pinch harmonics etc... The rest of the band play with equal parts precision and passion which helps to make the music breathe. The vocals are a mix of screaming and singing and both are done exceptionally well by Phil Labonte. The lyrical content is fine and the overall compositions are strong and compelling. While KSE represents the state of the art american metal band right now, these guys are not far off, while some think that the music here is none too different from other metal acts out there I find this offering very compelling and hard to stop listening to....

Tyrone Wells, Mike Kopolus, Aaron Bishop, and Mark Chipello really do give us more in this fantastic album. Tyrone has a talent for writing and performing music that reaches into the soul of his listeners. He says that he believes in his music, in what he's singing and it shows. This is his best album to date, though I'd recommend it even if only because he's a talented lyricists who has managed to put the phrase "kamikaze airplanes in the sky" into a love song.
