![]() Relentless $14.94 This crime story has some scary scenes, with an especially memorable one early on with a woman hiding in a clothes dryer. In fact, the first half of this is excellent but it peters out that point with two typical Hollywood clichs of crime movies of the period. They are: 1 - the good cop (Leo Rossi as "Sam Dietz") going it alone despite the orders of his superior; 2 - the killer going to the good cop's house to kill his family. Without those standard scenes, I would have rated this four stars, instead of three. By the way, what's with Meg Foster's eyes? It looks like they have no pupils. It's eerie to look at that woman's face. This movie spawned several sequels and the sequels were better and better as they went along with the third, I believe, being the best. ![]() Relentless (The Lost Fleet, Book 5) $7.99 I really enjoy this series and have purchased copies of all the books currently out for my other scifi reading friend. The books in the Lost Fleet series build nicely on one another and the relationships of the characters develop in interesting directions as we discover more about their lives. I think I'm starting to believe in Black Jack just like his more worshipful crew....poor guy! I can't wait for the next book, while at the same time I dread the end of the series. ![]() Relentless $18.98 This album is by far her best, it is absolutely excellent, Some songs are upbeat, some pull at your heart strings! How she weaves God into the melody is just awesome! ![]() Breathless: A Novel $28.00 The story has so many different characters that you wonder how they will all link together. Then at the very end in what seems to be a rushed ending the book tries to link them together and just ends. It does not take you on a journey of what puzzle and riddle are to the world. It was disappointing. Not a great read. A waste of hard earned cash. |
