Ok, I had no idea whether I would like historical romances. I got this book from a friend, and it took me months to finally give it a try. Other that the strange Scot language from forever ago, I really liked this book. It didn't drag, and Howell kept the reader informed as to what was doing around the place, at least for the characters you care about, and ended with a great battle and a promising future. I prob wont make this style of writing my favorite, but I would recommed it to anyone who likes the ancient history suspense romance.

After first seeing Reckless on Masterpiece Theatre, I was delighted to be able to purchase the series. If you are a fan of Robson Green, this is another fine example of his work; cast opposite Francesca Annis, the chemistry is palpable. Michael Kitchen is a superb actor as well, and makes for a great love triangle. Highly recommended for hours of enjoyment.

This is an outstanding adaptation of an outstanding play by Craig Lucas, following the surreal adventures of an optimistic housewife once she narrowly escapes death by a hitman hired by her own husband. I can't seem to find a copy of this film in a USA-friendly format, and I'm desperate to do so, because it's really one of my favorites. Highly recommended--- very funny, touching, and completely original. PLEASE, whoever controls the rights to this film--- make it available on DVD for American audiences! In the meanwhile, for those who can view the available format, I strongly recommend it!
