 Strange Paradise $3.96 Here is one of the most tasteful ambient artists around. I don't why this guy is not more famous. His soundscapes are wonderful to escape to, have as background when doing work, etc. If you like drifting, subtle changing ambient pieces, Brennan is excellent. Also, try his, "Vibrant Water." That is another great work of his.  The Blue Thumb Guide to Raingardens $17.95 As part of a street project we were allowed an option to have a voluntary rain garden put in our yard with grant money. One of the best tools we got was this book prior to our rain garden going in. After months of planning and reading, I was able to choose the best plants for my rain garden and the best way to talk care of them. My garden has just been completed and I'm happy to say this book was a big part of it. |
