I used these calipers to fit crystals in antique watches. They worked perfectly. Easy to use/read. Smooth movement. Easy to switch from inches to millimeters. I didn't use them for shaft diameters where accuracy to the 10th of a thousandth is critical but for everyday GOOD accuracy they are well worth the money. I used them for 6 months and never needed the extra battery. I went out of the watch business and sold them on e-bay for 5$ more than I paid. The buyer loved them and gave me a great review for the product.

I put off getting a larger battery for my HP DV2000 because it would stick out of the bottom of the unit and make it a little heavier. Turns out is a complete non issue for me. Just seems like it's tilted on a stand now. And as I can sit behind the house or at the dinner table or anywhere when I have ideas it's been super. I can't look at the new LED Netbooks because of eyestrain. And prefer the core 2 duo processors anyway, so this has been a godsend extending the life of my portables. And if I'm at the portable longer than the 5 or so hours I get out of it, I need a different kind of help!
