I hooked up my 13" MacBook to my Sony TV via the HDMI port and it looks awesome! I have the audio routed through my Bose soundsystem and this is a great way to watch NetFlix movies, news broadcasts, and YouTube videos. I recommend that if you have an Apple iTouch or iPhone you also download the Air Mouse application ($0.99) and this allows you to control your MacBook using Bluetooth: this allows you to type and navigate your computer from a great distance - great for controlling your movie playback from the comfort of your couch. I ordered the cable on Monday and got it on Friday (standard shipping). I would recommend this to ANYONE with a MacBook - I don't know how I lived with watching NetFlix on my tiny 13" screen before!
