Daniel Solove's book -- and his approach to classifying and dealing with privacy problems -- will have a profound impact on all future privacy debates. In that sense, it is a vital text; a must read for all who follow, or engage in, privacy debates.

On the other hand, Solove's claim that he can construct a new paradigm based strictly on a pragmatic, utilitarian, "problem-solving" approach, is ultimately a failure. There is just no getting around the fact that, at some point, you are going to have to provide a more robust theory of rights or justice to explain why one right trumps another. He fails to do so in this book.

LitterMaid Cat Privacy Tent

I had my first LitterMaid privacy tent for at least 5 years and perhaps longer, and in a multicat household so it was subjected to quite a bit of traffic. About three years ago I duct-taped the supports together and put a piece of heavy cardboard across the top, between the tent and the supports, since the cats insist on walking around up there. Recently, though, the zipper broke and since the tent is now beyond repair, I will happily purchase another. $30 for over five years of use seems more than reasonable to me!

This is such an excellent book on privacy techniques. It really touches every aspect of your life that you thought was privacy protected. What I like the most is that JJ Luna discusses various levels of privacy, and more important the privacy that fits you. So the more privacy you want the more steps you can take to acheive it. He even talks many methods on paying people, to titling your car etc, I highly recommend it. So all friends of Elishia Windfohr will be getting this for xmas. This will be your new bible, no puns intended. So privacy protect your life not just for yourself but for the future of our children.
