This was Plant's 2nd solo album and in my mind a concentrated effort not to sound like Led Zep which is maybe why the album is so lackluster. There are two very good songs here in "Thru with the 2 Step" and the album's best song, "Big Log". In both of these songs the vocals, music, and emotion all mesh well together. Most of the rest of the album sounds too restrained and the guitars sound thin and wimpy. I used to listen to this album quite a bit back in the day but it just doesn't hold up well now days.

I got this video when I decided I wanted to make my boyfriend have as wonderful an experience as he was making me have and I figured I could always use some improvement. And this DVD is really great. At first it made me laugh, because it is rather amusing to watch something like this. Apparently Angel says she gives lesson parties in people's homes to teach them how to do this stuff, and decided she needed to make a video of the information so she could reach more people. She does some moves that I hadn't been doing and wouldn't have thought of (and she varies between a larger number of moves than I would have ever used on a regular basis), and I've been using them on my boyfriend and he is really really happy with the results! I watched the video all the way through and then went back and watched it again taking notes (bullet points of the different moves she suggests you do in the sequence given), so it would help me memorize the order (there are about 10 moves to remember). There are one or two moves that I don't usually do, but the rest of them I do perform in the order given. I don't know if that sequence is important or not, but it's really working great, so I'm not going to mess with success! I am still working on remembering the sequence, so since I only see my boyfriend every couple of weeks, before I'm scheduled to see him, I've been reviewing my notes. That might sound silly, but studying for the "test" is helping me remember the order and I'm looking forward to the time when I won't need to review the material at all any more. Unless you have done a lot of research already into all the different sorts of moves you might do when doing this, you are certain to pick up some ideas in this video and it's way better than reading about it in a book - you will know exactly what to do and when and how. Plus, Angel is funny! I wanted to give this 5 stars but for some reason, the Amazon screen will only let me go up to 4 stars. For me, it was totally worth the money and worthy of 5 stars.
