I was too stuck on Cathe and didn't give her a fair chance. However, recently, I'm discovering that she has indeed some really good, challenging and fun workouts that make very good use of your time and this is one of those. I completely disagree with some of the reviewers here that say it's for beginners. While a beginner can modify the moves, overall this is an intermediate workout that gives you very good cardio and weights intervals. To make it harder for me, I used 10 to 12 lb. dumbbells and sometimes added a few more compound moves and high impact to this routine and got an awesome challenging workout. There are a lot of great recipes and ideas inside about how to do it. It's very instructional and leaves no doubt that you can do this easily. A recommend, along with Flat Belly Diet! Cookbook. ![]() Prevention Fitness: Shortcuts to Big Weight Loss $14.98 I have five other exercise videos starring Chris Freytag. I also have videos by other popular instructors. Chris is #1. She is enthusiastic without being perky, motivating and always is clear with her cueing and instructions. I was hesitant to try this video because I've never done Pilates. But, Chris makes it easy to follow. I liked the variety of Pilates, Kick-boxing and aerobics and got a good workout. Using weights was challenging, at times, but very beneficial. I'm 52, in pretty good shape and do an exercise video 5 times each week. |
