This is an interesting concept that really works. Krieger has a cello, and plays it using heavy eccho and electronic effects. The whole album his him performing pieces by the listed composers.

The cello is so heavily amplafied and processed,Krieger gets a tar-black, deep sound out of it. This is one spooky album, some of the best mood-inducing music I ever listened to. It would make great film music, if i could think of a film worthy of this. Krieger should find a director to collaborate with the way Goblin did with Argento.

The frequencies here are extremely low, much more so than even on a rap album. I am being litteral when saying if you have any ceramic decorations near the stereo when playing this, get them out of range of your speakers, they will tip over. Unless you have old style plaster walls, they will vibrate.

Totally, wonderfully atmospheric music. Buy this. But play at low volume, or buy homeowners insurance.
