 Microsoft Word Home and Student 2007 $119.95 Replaced Word 97 with Word 2007 and it was quite a stretch. All I wanted was a word processing program for basic wp--what I really wanted was Word 97 all over again but couldn't find it. The new version is like going back to a familiar forest after 10 years and finding it overgrown and difficult to navigate. A lot of the stuff I used constantly in 97 has been buried with what for me is a lot of useless features--like replacing simple autotext with building blocks. And some other features aren't supported any more, such as opening multiple dox from the desktop. But I persevered, discoved how to use the Quick Access Toolbar to simplify the main toolbar to a usable minimum. I could wish for more backwards compatibility (a phrase that MS probably uses as a curse) with W97 dox, but this is okay, considering it was 10 years ago. Surprisingly usable once you get used to it. A recommendation--if you have PATIENCE!!  Bi-point Table Base, 29" spread x 29" high Bi-point, 29" base spread, 29" top Height. Accepts 30" x 42" to 30" x 48" tops. |
