This book offers an introduction to more amazing creative possibilities to some really great plug-ins which are currently on the market. I learned about the plug-ins initially through a course given by one of the authors, but this book takes the reader into the realm of making those images with available plug-ins and the use of the pen tool.

In class, I found the pen tool somewhat challenging. This book repeats what was taught, which for me is important. Plus, there are more plug-ins which can make images even more powerful, of which I knew nothing previously and some of these plug-ins are part of Photoshop and are free.

This is a really helpful book and strongly recommended for serious photographers on up.

This came with a dead battery so I won't know how it works until I buy a replacement battery and who knows when that will happen? I am disabled and housebound which is why I buy from Amazon so frequently. I don't get out much. I was disappointed to say the least. I bought it to plug into my 12 string which is harder to tune. Fortunately, I have a regular KORG tuner and can tune it with that. I just wanted the plug in for more accuracy. Bummer.

A previous reviewer stated problems with the back-up battery cover First Alert CO615 Carbon Monoxide Detector.
It is flimsey and does not close easily once the battery is installed - it took me 3 or 4 trys to get a positive lock on the cover without breaking off the plastic latch protruding from the back of the cover.
Other than the battery cover, happy with the product to date. NO false signals, no problems with the back-up battery after a month. Purchased at Amazon.com
