I have read this entire series (Nightwalker and Shadowdweller) and this book was such a disappointment! I got the distinct impression that the author had no desire to finish the series (the villain was killed & no new one given and neither Amazon nor the authors website gives any information on another book in the series but touts a completely new series and world of books starting up soon) and crammed the last two story lines into one book. She failed to give each of them the attention they deserved: the first story was too short, rushed, and failed to wrap up all open ties and the second story was also rushed and the ending occurred too quickly, especially with a build up taking two books for the villain. I hope she eventually comes back to this series/world with the attention it deserves and she showed in the previous seven books.

The only reason this gets four stars is because I am such a big fan of this band. Now I'm telling my age sort of if folks remember this show. All I'm gonna say is that I helpled them out at the San Jose state University show back nin the day when they opened up for Roy Ayers. So you know that show was "DOPE on a ROPE". Anyway I digress. The band as I remember was out of Portland ,Oregon. And They had us stomping on the floor wanting more. This band was tight,right out the gate, the first song was "I'm Mad" and from there it just got better and better.

This disc boasts the greatest of pleasure but, it's not.... However ther are plenty good songs on here. But I could list another disc and a half more songs. And like other Pleasure fans I to would like to see the other Lp's come to light. The world is missing out on some great music. Whoever the gatekeeper for this band is shoot'em in the head. And, get this music back out to the public. And don't forget Marlon "the Magician" McClains' first solo Lp either. Holla, if you feel me!!!! DJ Warlock Out here in Cali.
