As a Dallas Cowboys fan I couldn't help but want to read this book despite grinding my teeth knowing I would have to re-live "the catch" all over again. Still, the book is a quick and fun read and the players who were there at the time are interviewed about what happened and what led up to the meeting between these two great teams.

I enjoyed the book though I thought it was a bit long. Admittedly, it is one play in one game, but I"m not sure the NFL really changed because of the catch. Bill Walsh (is he really a genius? Read the book) and the 49ers were a great team led by a great QB and the Cowboys were a team that was in transition. Maybe this game sped up the Cowboys transition to the need to re-build. Myers does a good job in the book and it is a book that NFL fans will enjoy.

Four stars. I can't give it five stars because I thought the book was a bit long for what it encompasses.

Although it's another battle of the sexes movie, the angle taken by the woman telling the story is funny at time real. Anthony Anderson is the funny confidante....It's a must-see for your enjoyment.
