I Finally have a Magnifacent Few Norfolk Pine trees, After trimming back 4 at a time and leaving just 1 plant it will grow 4 times faster than it would with all of the saplings! I Personally use {Bonsai Boys Conifer soil mix} Exclusively for all my potted plants! I don't trust any other company for soil, period, because The other soil Mixes just don't get the Germination or Growing job done! Bonsai Boy Conifer soil Mix works for any plants!

PLUS Norfolks come with at least 5 plants in each pot so trim back 4 and leave 1 only so the tree has a chance to live better and healthier. And a week after you have trimmed the other saplings make sure to uproot the one and REMOVE the DEAD saplings roots otherwise your 1 sapling will eventually die Because the other roots start decaying!

Also let the soil dry well on the top 2 inches and then water again and dont let it Puddle, only if it runs through the soil well then thats ok. but anymore water and it will simply { start becoming too soft to stableize itself! { in otherwords it will start leaning and you deffinately dont want that!}

Put This tree in a bright locating in the morning, that works as well! Also put this plant outside where NO strong wind and no rain can hardly get into its pot. Because if it storms or gets ready to you better bring that tree INSIDE or it WILL DIE from strong winds.

These are kinda Flimsy when wet so be careful not to tip or Torment it as in no Trimming till at least 4 inches tall and make sure there is plenty of moist air as well surrounding it at 40% of the time.

This tree loves to lean! If you have a Porch with a chair thats strong enough to withstand and hold a 20-30 pound tree then put it Near but not Up against Totally to that object because if you hurt the branches and not notice it, you tree lol will certainly die and fast i learned that the hard way.

You can also train this tree with normal scissors to trim back the branches say i have a 4 foot tall norfolk pine tree, with branches from tip of tree to 2 inches before the soil mix, ok, I trim up to 1 foot of the bottom tree so it can grow more maturely, and uptight and upright. i trim those branches 1 foot Above soil mix.

When watering only water maybe 1 time every 15-16 days. If you let the water Puddle in this plant... be ready to save it and replant into NEW dry soil because it just can't live with water like Cedars or wild pine trees!

Ok the ideal location will be to put it is in part Sun area make sure it doesnt burn the leaves. The best place to put it is around a door from youre house, when you go inside put that norfolk tree near a door so it gets good circulation. But like i say it really tollerates Morning sun not afternoon sun or that just might kill it!

If it really starts to twist and go bend sideways the best way is to get a nice bamboo stick only 1/2 inch wide and has to be 8 inches taller than the tree itself, and must be put right next to the tree trunk while holding it in place with Rubber or Cotton or some kind of soft rope, BEWARE OF THE METALS!! Metal can easily rub Up Against this kind of tree and the Metal can Burn and litteraly dig into the Bark!!! Watch it!

When you repot a Small 4 inch in diam pot repot this soon into a 8 inch wide pot with Bonsai Boy Conifer Soil mix or Something High Quality Soil Mix and make sure you have the roots Just 1 inch or so under the soil mix so it can Dry easier and get circulation goin!

If there is alot of Moisture in the Air be careful your Norfolk Tree wont tip from the crown of the tree! Mine is doing this in my Bigger pot and i have reSettled it more than 5 times! It is a Must to keep Settling it till it has all branches facing Up and tree tip must be straight up! Once again i still have to do that soon to my other Big one!

And also make sure you use pesticides and the Such to keep youre plants Healthy. And Pest Free Most of the time!

Or if you don't want to cut the rest of the trees out, just replant them in their own containers so the 1 can survive. Each can slowly survive alone. I have noticed.
